Mike Preston, - Chef
Born and raised in Alberta Chef Mike attended SAIT's cooking Apprenticeship program. Mentored and taught by many influential chefs throughout his career while at hotels, country clubs, and fine dining restaurants. Chef Mike strives to make the best finished product with ingredients from simple to extravagant. He continues to teach and pass on his knowledge and experiences to his young ambitious cooks and chefs of Murrieta's Calgary.
Stacey Olsen - General Manager
Originally from Ontario, Stacey moved to Calgary in 2002 and began her career in hospitality. She never dreamed that she would make a career out of food and beverage.
Stacey had her fine dining training at Rouge Restaurant under the leadership of Oliver Reynaud where she worked along side San Pelegrino award winning Chef and Owner Paul Rogalski. She quickly rose through the ranks and held the management position there for 5 years.
She took to the rails and worked as part of the hospitality team on board the Royal Canadian Pacific train.
Her career opportunities landed her at Sky 360. Helping to implement the highest level of service, Stacey began to focus on facilitating events. She moved her talent and strong comprehension of special events to the Sky 360 team where she worked as Event Manager.
In July of 2011 Stacey joined the team at Murrieta's Bar and Grill as Event Manager. In April 2013, she was promoted to General Manager. She accepted the challenge and now oversees all daily operations.
Stacey is excited to offer a great dining experience to all customers. Her love of food, wine and working with people is what she enjoys most about the hospitality industry.
